Role Description:
As an Instructor, day-to-day tasks will include delivering lectures, conducting practical training sessions, preparing lesson plans, evaluating student performance, leading by example, and providing guidance and support to students as they develop their skills and knowledge with a main concentration in the Medium/Heavy Truck field.

What we expect from a candidate:
- A minimum of 2 years Auto/Diesel Industry related professional teaching in an accredited post secondary institution
- A minimum of 3 years of Industry experience in the Medium/Heavy Truck Industry as a Journeyman Technician or equivalent
- Clean driving record and valid Drivers License
- Strong knowledge and expertise in automotive and diesel systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, fuel systems, and diagnostics
- ASE Master Certified (T Series at minimum) or the ability to achieve current Master status within 90 days of start date and remain current with Industry technology as it evolves through further training and certifications as required
- Proficiency in technology and software relevant to the automotive and diesel industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively deliver lectures and engage with students
- Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- A passion for teaching and mentoring students, patience, compassion and the ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment

- This role requires physical labor including standing for extended periods of time, bending, squatting, crouching, and lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
